Refund policy

We do not offer any returns or exchanges for any Idaho Trading Company items purchased from the New & Used Resale Collections.

At Idaho Trading Company we strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with the quality of your purchase from the Idaho Trading Company Merchandise Collection and/or the Idaho American Merchandise Collection. To be clear, we will only offer a potential returns/exchanges for items that are received damaged and only purchased from the Idaho Trading Company Merchandise and/or the Idaho American Merchandise collections.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind for any product or item we sell on our Idaho Trading Company Website. 

To be eligible for a potential return or exchange, if you receive a damaged item, you may request a potential exchange for an item of equal or lesser value. Your damaged item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

  • Returns or exchanges for Damaged merchandise will only be accepted within 14 Days of verified purchase.

If your return or exchange is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return or exchange will not be accepted.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You can always contact us for return or exchange questions of damaged items at support@idahotradingco.com.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the damaged item you have received.  Once the potential exchange is accepted you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

Conditions for Exchange:

  • You must request an exchange within 14 days of placing your order.
  • The damaged item you wish to exchange must be of equal or lesser value to the damaged item you originally purchased.
  • The item must be in its original packaging and unused condition.

How to Request an Exchange:

  • Contact our customer service team at support@idahotradingco.com within 14 days of placing your order.
  • Provide your order number and details of the item.
  • Our team will guide you through the exchange process and provide you with the necessary information needed. 

Additional Information:

  • Exchanges are subject to availability. If the desired item is out of stock, you may select another item of equal or lesser value.
  • You will not receive store credit.
  • Shipping costs for sending the replacement item will be covered by Idaho Trading Company only if item is damaged upon arrival (See shipping policy).
  • Shipping costs will NOT be covered if customer is displeased with the item received, relating to quality, appearance, smell, color, or size (Unless color or size is wrong from what was originally ordered).

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 14 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
